Volunteer

Volunteering at Wen is a hugely rewarding experience. Volunteers gain unique experience in one of the UK’s only feminist environmental organisations.

Everyone who works for Wen has real responsibility and an equal voice within the organisation. You will enjoy a varied work experience, and we always encourage our volunteers to set and meet their personal development goals.

Previous Wen volunteers have gone on to paid jobs at organisations such as Sustain, Women’s Aid and Greenpeace.

“In an organisation of this size there is real scope to exercise initiative and make significant contributions to Wen’s aims. The team are always receptive to new ideas and supportive to volunteers, who are treated as valued and vital. I was able to build my skill set without compromising on ethics, which was really important to me.” – Georgie Johnson, Media & Communications Volunteer, 2014
